My Top Three Favorite Loop Band Workouts

 

As I continue to write my blog, I am learning to become more resistant (stronger) with sharing my story. I have only truly lived a healthy lifestyle for the last four years. However, it has been a journey since I was very young. My weight constantly was on a roller coaster ride. I have stepped into a size 16 pair of pants and changed into an XS shirt. I don’t regret the journey and the trial and error because I have finally found my happy place, a place where healthy and happy live together as one. It takes discipline, and a can-do attitude. The best method and advice that I can give especially if you are just starting out; do things you enjoy or at the very least can tolerate, move at your pace, and set yourself up for success. If you are reading this and saying to yourself you hate working out and eating healthy then you are already setting yourself up for failure. There are so many different ways to workout and recipes are endless, so no excuses, keep trying things until you find what you enjoy. You will get stronger mentally, physically and emotionally.


Wherever you are on your fitness journey remember how far you have come and how you feel right at this moment. There are going to be days where it seems, just for a moment easy, and somethings will be a bit “easier,” then there are days where temptation decides to make a visit for the day or even the week, and the workouts are just plain hard, but it is in those moments you get stronger. It sounds so cliche, right, but its the truth, and deep down you know it

 

Be resistant!!!!

 

 

So, let's add some extra resistance to your lifestyle. If you are looking to add something new to your workouts or just looking to change things up, look into exercise bands. There are so many types of workout bands. However, I am going to share with you my favorite; the loop bands, which you see me with pictured below.

 

I did a fun boomerang to show you my top three ways to use loop bands during a workout. They are a great way to begin advancing in your workouts; you will move faster when you do not have them on, which is a cool benefit, they adds resistance, so while you are getting the heart rate up, you are also strengthening. One last cool part, they travel easy. You can throw them in your purse or luggage and voila you have a workout wherever you go.
